Staff accounted for 49.9% of total operating expenditures in 2017. The bank operated a network of 271 branches and employed 4,250 persons in 2017.
Comparing Slovenska Sporitelna with its closest peers, VUB Banka operated in 2017 with a cost to income ratio of 48.8% in 2017, Prima Banka Slovakia reached 63.4% and Tatra banka some 57.0%.
