Average asset yield was 3.03% in 2017, down from 3.54% when compared to previous year. On the other hand, cost of funding amounted to 0.230% in 2017, down from 0.381%.
Comparing Slovenska Sporitelna with its closest peers, VUB Banka operated in 2017 with a net interest margin of 2.65% in 2017, Prima Banka Slovakia reached 1.98% and Tatra banka some 2.27%.
