Slovak banking sector provided corporate loans of EUR 17.5 bil in 2017, up 6.40% when compared to the last year.
Slovenska Sporitelna accounted for 14.9% of all corporate loans issued in Slovakia at the end of 2017. Historically, the bank’s market share in corporate loans reached an all time high of 22.6% in 2004 and an all time low of 8.85% in 2001.
That's compared to a 21.6% market share the bank held in terms of total assets at the end of 2017.
