Slovenska Sporitelna made a net profit of EUR 164 mil under revenues of EUR 569 mil in 2017, up -23.6% and -5.19% respectively compared to the previous year.
Historically, the bank’s net profit reached an all time high of EUR 215 mil in 2016 and an all time low of EUR 0.001 mil in 1999. The average profit in the last five years amounted to EUR 186 mil.
On the other hand, bank’s revenues amounted to an all time high of EUR 605 mil in 2015 and an all time low of EUR 73.2 mil in 1999. The average revenues in the last five years reached EUR 592 mil.
Comparing Slovenska Sporitelna with its closest peers, VUB Banka generated a net profit of EUR 175 mil with revenues of EUR 547 mil in 2017, Prima Banka Slovakia netted EUR 14.9 mil (revenues of EUR 75.0 mil) and Tatra banka announced a net profit of EUR 124 mil (revenues of EUR 425 mil).
