State Bank of India generated total banking revenues of INR 492 bil in the third quarter of 2019, up 20% when compared to the same period of last year and 13.6% when compared to the previous quarter.
Historically, the bank’s revenues containing of interest, fee and other non-interest income reached an all time high of INR 492 bil in 3Q2019 and an all time low of INR 113 bil in 1Q2018. The average revenue in the last six quarters amounted to INR 396 bil.
Net interest income represented 55.3% of total revenues, fee income contributed 0% and other non-interest income added further 44.7% to the overall revenue generation in 3Q2019.
Bank's total revenues accounted for 5.04% total assets in the third quarter of 2019, up from 4.47% a year earlier.
