Taxes on income, profits and capital gains reached 393 RWF bil in 2016 in Rwanda, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 17.6 % more than in the previous year.

Historically, taxes on income, profits and capital gains in Rwanda reached an all time high of 393 RWF bil in 2016 and an all time low of 3.60 RWF bil in 1991. When compared to Rwanda's main peers, taxes on income, profits and capital gains in Tanzania amounted to 4,525 TNS bil and 3,810 UGX bil in Uganda in 2016.
