On the other hand, bank's customer deposit growth amounted to 6.33% at the end of 2017, up from 2.74% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s deposit growth reached an all time high of 34.3% in 2006 and an all time low of -11.3% in 2010. In the last decade, the average annual loan growth amounted to 8.23%.
At the end of 2017, UniCredit Bank Hungary's loans accounted for 73.3% of total deposits and 43.9% of total assets.
