Historically, upper-medium cars as a share of new cars sold in the United Kingdom reached an all time high of 19.3% in 2016 and an all time low of 13.1% in 2006. When compared to United Kingdom's main peers, upper-medium cars as a share of new cars sold in Belgium amounted to 19.8%, 13.1% in France, 19.5% in Germany and 31.7% in Ireland in 2016.
