Voestalpine has overcame the financial crisis relatively well. Sales have reached the pre-crisis level of EUR 11.5 bil already in 2012, up 35% from its low in 2009.
In terms of sales structure, the proportion of steel and special steel has declined from 73% of total in 2007 to around 58% in 2012
