Based on a comparison of 124 countries in 2017, Maldives ranked the highest in bank capital adequacy ratio with 44.6% followed by Papua New Guinea and Central African Republic. On the other end of the scale was Cameroon with 9.69%, Nigeria with 10.5% and Bangladesh with 10.6%.
