Based on a comparison of 125 countries in 2019, Maldives ranked the highest in bank capital adequacy ratio with 44.2% followed by Papua New Guinea and Central African Republic. On the other end of the scale was Bangladesh with 10.5%, Cameroon with 10.8% and Myanmar with 10.9%.
