Based on a comparison of 27 banks in Croatia in 2016, PBZ Stambena Stedionica was the best capitalised bank, followed by Addiko Bank Croatia and Prva Stambena Stedionica.

PBZ Stambena Stedionica's capital adequacy ratio reached 50.8%, down from 62.3% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 118% in 2009 and an all time low of 46.0% in 2013.
