J&T Banka employed 650 persons in 2018, down 11.0% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 730 persons in 2017 and an all time low of 95.0 in 2004.
Average cost reached CZK 359,338 per month per employee, 190% more than a year ago. This figure was CZK 69,141 per month some 10 years ago.
Staff accounted for 48.3% of total operating expenditures in 2018.
Comparing J&T Banka with its closest peers, PPF Banka had 235 employees with average cost of CZK 135,461 per month per person, Trinity Bank operated with 102 people (and CZK 127,525 per month per employee) and SAB Finance had 60.0 employees in 2018 with cost of CZK 121,057 per month per head.
The average staff cost per employee reached CZK 1,867 per month in the Czech banking sector in 2018.
