Based on a comparison of 10 banks in Hungary in 2017, OTP Group generated the largest revenues, followed by OTP Bank Hungary and K&H Bank.

OTP Group reported total revenues of HUF 935,354 mil, up 9.82% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s revenues containing of interest, fee and other non-interest income reached an all time high of HUF 1,084,520 mil in 2014 and an all time low of HUF 36,494 mil in 1993. The average revenue in the last five years amounted to HUF 960,730 mil.

Bank's total revenues accounted for 7.09% of total assets in 2017, up from 7.60% a year earlier.

Comparing OTP Group with its closest peers, OTP Bank Hungary generated total revenues of HUF 365,591 mil, or 4.75% of assets in 2017, K&H Bank operated with HUF 147,864 mil total income, or 4.86% revenue margin and Erste Bank Hungary produced total income worth HUF 126,281 mil, or 5.69% of assets.

Hungarian banking sector generated total revenues of HUF 179,177 mil in 2017, down 0.560% when compared to the previous year. As a result, the top ranked company - OTP Group accounted for 522% of the sector’s total income in 2017. The top 3 companies held a 809% share while the five largest firms some 946% in 2017.
