Based on a comparison of 12 banks in Philippines in 2018, Landbank was paying its employees the best, followed by Philippine National Bank and PBCOM.

Landbank employed 8,599 persons in 2018, up 7.69% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 8,599 persons in 2018 and an all time low of 7,834 in 2016.

Average cost reached PHP 134,252 per month per employee, 13.7% more than a year ago. This figure was PHP per month some 10 years ago.

Staff accounted for 41.3% of total operating expenditures in 2018.

Comparing Landbank with its closest peers, Philippine National Bank had 8,266 employees with average cost of PHP 94,566 per month per person, PBCOM operated with 1,074 people (and PHP 89,493 per month per employee) and Philtrust Bank had 832 employees in 2018 with cost of PHP 87,293 per month per head.
