Based on a comparison of 13 banks in Philippines in 2018, Banco de Oro was the largest lender, followed by Metrobank and Bank of the Philippine Islands.
Banco de Oro loans reached PHP 1,993,300 mil, up 15.6% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s loans reached an all time high of PHP 1,993,300 mil in 2018 and an all time low of PHP 23,198 mil in 1998.
Comparing Banco de Oro with its closest peers, Metrobank customer loans amounted to PHP 1,391,030 mil, Bank of the Philippine Islands operated with PHP 1,346,440 mil loans and Landbank had a loan portfolio of PHP 798,740 mil.
