Based on a comparison of 10 banks in Romania in 2016, Banca Transilvania generated the largest revenues, followed by Banca Commerciala Romana and Raiffeisen Bank Romania.

Banca Transilvania reported total revenues of RON 3,186 mil, up 3.91% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s revenues containing of interest, fee and other non-interest income reached an all time high of RON 3,186 mil in 2016 and an all time low of RON 19.1 mil in 1997. The average revenue in the last five years amounted to RON 2,418 mil.
