Based on a comparison of 16 banks in Serbia in 2017, Banka Postanska Stedionica had the highest share of bad loans, followed by Addiko Bank Serbia and Eurobank Serbia.

Banka Postanska Stedionica's non-performing loans reached 18.3% of total loans at the end of 2017, down from 57.6% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the NPL ratio hit an all time high of 57.6% in 2016 and an all time low of 18.3% in 2017.

Provision coverage amounted to 18.2% at the end of 2017, down from 27.9% compared to a year earlier.

Comparing Banka Postanska Stedionica with its closest peers, Addiko Bank Serbia operated at the end of 2017 with NPL ratio of 18.2% and provision coverage of 67.7%, Eurobank Serbia with 17.5% and 42.6% and AIK Banka had 17.4% of bad loans covered with 49.4% by provisions at the end of 2017.
