Based on a comparison of 15 banks in Serbia in 2017, Addiko Bank Serbia was paying its employees the best, followed by Societe Generale Serbia and UniCredit Bank Serbia.
Addiko Bank Serbia employed 595 persons in 2017, down 6.89% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 872 persons in 2011 and an all time low of 595 in 2017.
Average cost reached RSD 204,230 per month per employee, 2.52% more than a year ago. This figure was RSD 104,412 per month some 10 years ago.
Staff accounted for 32.3% of total operating expenditures in 2017.
Comparing Addiko Bank Serbia with its closest peers, Societe Generale Serbia had 1,451 employees with average cost of RSD 198,469 per month per person, UniCredit Bank Serbia operated with 1,286 people (and RSD 187,581 per month per employee) and NLB Serbia had 431 employees in 2017 with cost of RSD 185,214 per month per head.
The average staff cost per employee reached RSD 153,564 per month in the Serbian banking sector in 2017.
