Based on a comparison of 10 banks in Slovenia in 2017, SKB Banka was the most cost efficient bank, followed by Gorenjska Banka and Nova Ljubljanska banka.

SKB Banka's cost to income ratio reached 52.6% in 2017, down from 47.8% when compared to the last year. Historically, the bank’s costs reached an all time high of 87.9% in 2001 and an all time low of 41.0% in 2005.
