Vietcombank employed 17,215 persons in 2018, up 6.09% when compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank's workforce hit an all time high of 17,215 persons in 2018 and an all time low of 9,212 in 2008.
Average cost reached VND 37,165,200 per month per employee, 7.48% more than a year ago. This figure was VND 10,150,100 per month some 10 years ago.
Staff accounted for 55.3% of total operating expenditures in 2018.
Comparing Vietcombank with its closest peers, BIDV had 25,416 employees with average cost of VND 29,114,400 per month per person, Techcombank operated with 9,757 people (and VND 27,672,100 per month per employee) and MBBank had 15,233 employees in 2018 with cost of VND 27,179,800 per month per head.
