Based on a comparison of 15 banks in Vietnam in 2019, BIDV was the largest lender, followed by VietinBank and Vietcombank.
BIDV loans reached VND 1,102,490 bil, up 12.9% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s loans reached an all time high of VND 1,102,490 bil in 2019 and an all time low of VND 125,596 bil in 2007.
Comparing BIDV with its closest peers, VietinBank customer loans amounted to VND 922,330 bil, Vietcombank operated with VND 724,290 bil loans and Sacombank had a loan portfolio of VND 292,059 bil.
