Based on a comparison of 127 countries in 2017, Nepal ranked the highest in bank loans as a share of GDP with 2,585% followed by Zambia and Yemen. On the other end of the scale was Afghanistan with 3.79%, Chad with 10.1% and Guinea with 11.0%.
