Based on a comparison of 157 countries in 2013, China ranked the highest in freshwater fish consumption with 20,666 kt followed by India and Bangladesh. On the other end of the scale was Djibouti with 0.009 kt, Maldives with 0.055 kt and East Timor with 0.056 kt.
