Based on a comparison of 145 countries in 2013, India ranked the highest in pulse consumption with 16,947 kt followed by China and Brazil. On the other end of the scale was Suriname with 1.02 kt, Maldives with 1.06 kt and Mongolia with 1.13 kt.
