Based on a comparison of 128 countries in 2017, India ranked the highest in pulse consumption with 13,825 kt followed by Nigeria and Ethiopia. On the other end of the scale was Turkmenistan with 1.00 kt, Romania with 1.00 kt and Croatia with 1.00 kt.
