Based on a comparison of 149 countries in 2017, India ranked the highest in female to male primary enrollment rate with 117% followed by Senegal and Gambia. On the other end of the scale was Afghanistan with 68.0%, South Sudan with 70.8% and Central African Republic with 76.3%.
