Based on a comparison of 24 countries in 2007, Belgium ranked the highest in cable television subscribers as a percentage of population with 38.2% followed by Netherlands and Switzerland. On the other end of the scale was Italy with 0.426%, Turkey with 1.62% and Spain with 4.29%.
