Based on a comparison of 30 countries in 2017, Romania ranked the highest in home ownership as a percentage of all dwellings with 96.9% followed by Lithuania and Slovakia. On the other end of the scale was Denmark with 49.4%, Germany with 51.5% and Austria with 55.0%.
