Based on a comparison of 44 countries in 2016, China ranked the highest in wind capacity in terms of cumulative installed wind turbine capacity with 148,640 MW followed by USA and Germany. On the other end of the scale was Iran with 117 MW, Tunisia with 245 MW and Argentina with 303 MW.
