Based on a comparison of 137 countries in 2015, Puerto Rico ranked the highest in passenger cars per 1,000 people with 823 vehicles followed by Luxembourg and Brunei. On the other end of the scale was Ethiopia with 0.917 vehicles, Sudan with 1.27 vehicles and Burundi with 1.86 vehicles.
