Based on a comparison of 29 countries in 2014, Germany ranked the highest in number of cataract surgeries with 782 '000 followed by France and South Korea. On the other end of the scale was Iceland with 1.79 '000, Luxembourg with 4.69 '000 and Chile with 6.43 '000.
