Based on a comparison of 174 countries in 2019, Nepal ranked the highest in female population as a percentage of total population with 54.4% followed by Hong Kong and Latvia. On the other end of the scale was Qatar with 24.7%, United Arab Emirates with 30.7% and Oman with 34.0%.
