Based on a comparison of 174 countries in 2018, Latvia ranked the highest in female population as a percentage of total population with 54.3% followed by Lithuania and Ukraine. On the other end of the scale was Qatar with 23.7%, United Arab Emirates with 30.6% and Oman with 34.8%.
