Based on a comparison of 47 countries in 2011, Germany ranked the highest in number of maritime container ships with 15,341 vessels followed by Singapore and United Kingdom. On the other end of the scale was Moldova with 5.64 vessels, Austria with 6.40 vessels and Mongolia with 6.84 vessels.
