Based on a comparison of 36 countries in 2014, Switzerland ranked the highest in nurses per 10,000 inhabitants with 170 persons followed by Norway and Denmark. On the other end of the scale was Colombia with 9.69 persons, Indonesia with 10.4 persons and South Africa with 11.7 persons.
