Based on a comparison of 25 countries in 2010, Israel ranked the highest in acute care occupancy as of available beds with 98.8% followed by Norway and Canada. On the other end of the scale was Netherlands with 52.8%, Mexico with 60.1% and Turkey with 63.3%.
