Based on a comparison of 139 countries in 2018, Cuba ranked the highest in physicians per 1,000 people with 8.42 persons followed by Georgia and Lithuania. On the other end of the scale was Tanzania with 0.014 persons, Malawi with 0.036 persons and Niger with 0.043 persons.
