Based on a comparison of 117 countries in 2018, Malawi ranked the highest in pupil to teacher ratio in secondary education with 69.7 persons followed by Afghanistan and Eritrea. On the other end of the scale was Comoros with 5.31 persons, Croatia with 6.73 persons and Kazakhstan with 6.96 persons.
