Based on a comparison of 93 countries in 2018, Denmark ranked the highest in researchers in R&D per mil of people with 8,066 persons followed by South Korea and Sweden. On the other end of the scale was Rwanda with 13.9 persons, Guatemala with 14.1 persons and Angola with 18.8 persons.
