Based on a comparison of 40 countries in 2011, Indonesia ranked the highest in low birthweight as a percentage of total live births with 11.1% followed by Greece and Japan. On the other end of the scale was China with 2.30%, Iceland with 3.20% and Finland with 4.10%.
