Based on a comparison of 35 countries in 2014, Italy ranked the highest in number of hotel bedrooms with 1,090,300 bedrooms followed by Germany and Spain. On the other end of the scale was Liechtenstein with 591 bedrooms, Macedonia with 7,232 bedrooms and Luxembourg with 7,777 bedrooms.
