Based on a comparison of 35 countries in 2014, Italy ranked the highest in number of hotel beds with 2,241,240 beds followed by United Kingdom and Spain. On the other end of the scale was Liechtenstein with 1,288 beds, Luxembourg with 14,787 beds and Macedonia with 15,744 beds.
