Based on a comparison of 59 countries in 2016, Mexico ranked the highest in avocado production with 1,889,354 tonnes followed by Dominican Republic and Peru. On the other end of the scale was Seychelles with 12.0 tonnes, Cayman Islands with 19.5 tonnes and Tunisia with 322 tonnes.
