Based on a comparison of 49 countries in 2016, Ivory Coast ranked the highest in cocoa bean production with 1,472,313 tonnes followed by Ghana and Indonesia. On the other end of the scale was Fiji with 5.00 tonnes, Suriname with 5.00 tonnes and Comoros with 40.0 tonnes.
