Based on a comparison of 78 countries in 2019, India ranked the highest in fibre crop primary production with 1,781 kt followed by Bangladesh and France. On the other end of the scale was Japan with 0.001 kt, Uganda with 0.005 kt and South Korea with 0.026 kt.
