Based on a comparison of 59 countries in 2014, China ranked the highest in linseed oil production with 195,700 tonnes followed by Belgium and USA. On the other end of the scale was Jamaica with 6.00 tonnes, Mauritius with 9.00 tonnes and Latvia with 10.0 tonnes.

Total linseed oil production reached 567,671 tonnes in 2014 in the World according to Faostat. This is 0.503 % more than in the previous year and -3.01 % less than 10 years ago.
