Based on a comparison of 69 countries in 2014, China ranked the highest in tangerine, mandarin and clementine production with 16,240 kt followed by Spain and Morocco. On the other end of the scale was Djibouti with 0.002 kt, Bosnia and Herzegovina with 0.044 kt and Malta with 0.086 kt.
Total tangerine, mandarin and clementine production reached 27,728 kt in 2014 in the World according to Faostat. This is 3.43 % less than in the previous year and 15.6 % more than 10 years ago.
