Which Country Produces the Most Milk?

Based on a comparison of 170 countries in 2014, USA ranked the highest in fresh cow milk production with 89,118 kl followed by India and China. On the other end of the scale was Hong Kong with 0.004 kl, Seychelles with 0.022 kl and Brunei with 0.046 kl.

Total fresh cow milk production reached 613,657 kl in 2014 in the World according to Faostat. This is 3.57 % less than in the previous year and 13.7 % more than 10 years ago.

Historically, total fresh cow milk production reached an all time high of 635,576 kl in 2013 and an all time low of 312,824 kl in 1963. The average annual growth amounted to 1.27 % since 1961.
