Based on a comparison of 170 countries in 2014, India ranked the highest in fresh milk production with 130,167 kt followed by USA and China. On the other end of the scale was Hong Kong with 0.002 kt, Seychelles with 0.012 kt and Brunei with 0.082 kt.

Total fresh milk production reached 751,428 kt in 2014 in the World according to Faostat. This is 0.214 % less than in the previous year and 17.0 % more than 10 years ago.
