Based on a comparison of 62 countries in 2018, Canada ranked the highest in rapeseed production with 20,343 kt followed by China and India. On the other end of the scale was Kyrgyzstan with 0.048 kt, Tajikistan with 0.277 kt and South Korea with 0.916 kt.

Total rapeseed production reached 75,001 kt in 2018 in the World according to Faostat. This is 1.83 % less than in the previous year and 24.2 % more than 10 years ago.
