Based on a comparison of 42 countries in 2021, Nigeria ranked the highest in yam production with 50,377 kt followed by Ghana and Ivory Coast. On the other end of the scale was Trinidad and Tobago with 0.040 kt, Belize with 0.110 kt and Nicaragua with 1.00 kt.
